The incident took place in Muddanahalli forest area of Mysuru district, near the Nagarahole National Park. A tiger’s lifeless body was found near a stream in the Hunasuru range. The carcass was spotted near the Forrest’s periphery, raising concerns among forest officials. The tiger’s death has sparked speculation, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding its demise.

Upon closer inspection, officials found bloodstains and tiger excreta near the carcass, suggesting possible injuries that may have contributed to its death. The tiger’s hind leg appeared to be injured, adding to the mystery surrounding its death. A team of officials, including Nagarahole National park director P.A. Seema, RFO Subramani, and veterinarian Dr. Ramesh  visited the site to conduct a thorough investigation.

The forest department is working to determine the cause of the tiger’s death. This area had witnessed a previous incident where a tiger had killed a cow belonging to Farmer Venkatesh just a week ago, leaving many to wonder if the same tiger was involved.

The incident highlights the importance of monitoring wildlife and ensuring their safety. As the investigation unfolds, the forest department will hopefully work to unravel the mystery behind the tiger’s death.
