The southern interior parts of Karnataka, including Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, and Hassan, are expected to receive light to moderate fairly widespread rainfall during the same period. Meanwhile, the northern interior regions will likely witness light rainfall at isolated places.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for several districts, including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar, for December 2nd and 3rd.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and stay indoors during heavy rainfall. The Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority is on high alert to respond to any emergency situations.
